Sassy Superbowl Chili

Who doesn't love chili for super bowl??  Here is an awesome, healthy recipe for the crock pot so you can spend less time cooking and more time playing!  Throw it on in the morning and it will be perfect by game time!

Ingredients:

1 small yellow onion
2 cloves garlic
1 14.5 oz can fire roasted tomatoes with juice
1 15 oz can black beans
1 lb turkey breast, ground
1 bayleaf
3/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1/8 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp coarse grind pepper
2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1.5 cup water

Directions:

1. Put veggies and beans in the bottom of the crock pot.
2. Layer ground turkey breast, spices, seasoning and water next.
3. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
4. Stir and check seasonings & season to taste.
5. Cook for an additional 20-30 minutes on low. Enjoy!
